There’s no denying that the WWE main roster is loaded with talent, but there are a number of wrestlers who have had to deal with questionable booking in recent years, and today we’re going to take a look at 5 wrestlers who deserve better.
5. Chelsea Green
Over the last few years Chelsea Green has gone out of her way to establish herself as someone who can take whatever WWE hands her and make it work. Green has also received her fair share of support from the fans, but she has been stuck in the same spot on the card for far too long.
WWE Unreal revealed that certain people on the WWE creative team do not view Chelsea as a potential world champion. For someone who has had a consistent presence on SmackDown for years now it’s somewhat baffling that WWE hasn’t at the very least taken a chance on Chelsea and put her in a world title feud, even if to just feed her to one of the top names.
If nothing else you’d think putting her in a world title feud briefly would be worth doing simply to gauge the reaction from the fans. However, Chelsea’s booking speaks to a larger problem with WWE creative overall as the company seems content with fitting certain stars into specific spots on the card and never moving them up.
4. The Street Profits
So, technically since The Street Profits are a tag team this brings the total for the list to 6 superstars, but who’s counting right? You have to give The Street Profits credit, when it’s time for them to deliver they show up ready and able. Unfortunately there’s rarely any pay off to the storylines, or lack of storylines that are given to this team.
When the duo first returned to Raw they came back hot and things looked promising after they captured the WWE World Tag Team Championship. However, the big win turned into just another situation where WWE gave Dawkins and Ford another brief title reign to keep them on the cusp of relevancy before banishing them back to catering.
The Street Profits have an act that is easy to get over if they’re featured consistently and given something to sink their teeth into. They could, and likely should be the top team on WWE programming, but WWE seems to have little to no interest in building a thriving tag team division as the belts have mostly been used as props given to singles stars who have been paired up.
3. Giulia
When Giulia first joined WWE it was touted as a big signing and she quickly established herself as the top star in the WWE women’s division. Both Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer appeared to be poised to take over the women’s division on the main roster when they were called up, but while Vaquer has flourished, Giulia has floundered.
WWE has given fans little to no reason to care about Giulia as she’s basically been a background character ever since she joined the SmackDown brand. Recently there was some excitement among fans when she broke away from Kiana James. The company finally gave fans a reason to get invested in Giulia, but so far her breakout moment has done nothing to elevate her.
SmackDown going back to 2 hours isn’t going to do Giulia any favors as everyone will be fighting for TV time. One way or another a course correction is desperately needed for Giulia sooner than later.
2. Bron Breakker
In just a few short months Bron Breakker has gone from world title contender to side character in what has become an Austin Theory led version of The Vision. To be fair WWE seemingly had a long-term storyline planned out involving Seth Rollins and Breakker when The Vision was first formed, but multiple injuries have been a curse for the group.
Even so, Breakker being on the losing end of his feud with Seth Rollins made little to no sense as Rollins has shown in the past that he can easily bounce back and jump right into the world title scene after taking a loss and no one will bat an eye. Bron Breakker being positioned as the definitive winner of their feud would have done a lot for him, but WWE chose to take a different path.
A year ago everyone was talking like Bron Breakker becoming a world champion at some point was a foregone conclusion. Now Breakker has no clear direction and seems to be drifting further and further from the main event scene.
1. LA Knight
Let me talk ya. Out of all the stars on the main roster it seems that LA Knight’s popularity is WWE’s most unhappy accident. When Knight was on the rise following his feud with Bray Wyatt in 2023 it seemed all but inevitable that there were big things ahead of him. The Megastar felt like a shoo-in for the Money in the Bank contract that year. However, WWE passed over LA Knight for Money in the Bank winner in 2023, and 2024, and 2025, and well let’s just be honest, his chances aren’t looking great for 2026 either.
Perhaps the most heartbreaking aspect when it comes to LA Knight’s current position in WWE is that the powers that be seem to be well aware of his popularity as he’s often kept right on the cusp of the world title scene. Knight is constantly positioned as someone who is close to breaking through, but the lack of follow through on these teases will inevitably lead to a lack of support for Knight. Fans can only hold onto their belief for so long before they start to lose hope that Knight will finally win the big one.
LA Knight has been a fan favorite for years now, and it’s nothing short of a miracle that he still has the level of support that he does despite the way he’s booked. In an age where Sami Zayn can get a much deserved nine day Undisputed WWE Championship reign it’s a shame that the company won’t pull the trigger on a brief title run for Knight, if nothing else to finally solidify him as a top name that can be booked as a former world champion.
