The World Health Organization has declared that the coronavirus is a pandemic, and public events all over the world are being canceled as a precautionary measure.
WrestleMania 36 is set to take place from Tampa, FL in a few weeks, where multiple cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed, and although the city of Tampa recently issued a statement saying the show will go on, anything can happen between now and April 5.
WrestleVotes shared an update on the status of WrestleMania and reported that one source noted “if it can go on as planned, it will.”
An additional update on the status of WrestleMania 36 was later posted by WrestleVotes stating that “It’s not looking good now.”
It was also speculated that WWE may attempt to reschedule the show rather than cancel.
