triple h

Times are changing that’s for sure. Vince McMahon has been the main in charge of WWE for quite some time now, but over the last few years Triple H has stepped up and he’s taken on more responsibilities backstage.

Triple H has been the main leading the charge for NXT, and it was recently reported that Vince McMahon has stepped aside and given control of the 205 Live brand to Triple H.

Most people seem to feel that Vince is unlikely to ever completely give up his power in WWE, but as time goes on and he shifts his focus to other projects, it seems inevitable that someone else will have to take the reigns.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the feeling is Triple H will be getting more power in WWE as Vince McMahon prepares to launch the XFL in 2020.

Vince said during the public announcement that his role with the XFL will not impact his role in WWE, but there are only 24 hours in a day, and there’s only so much he can do as one man.

The belief is that Triple H is putting together a team of key players in NXT so that he can have everything in place when he does eventually gain more control over the main roster.
