Monday Night Raw started out rough for Roman Reigns, but all’s well that ends well. Roman started his night by getting slapped in the face several times by Stephanie McMahon due to the vicious beating he gave Triple H at TLC. Later in the show Vince McMahon returned and told Roman that he could have a title shot against Sheamus on Raw with the stipulation being that if Roman lost he would be fired. Vince then hit Roman with a low blow before leaving the ring.
Roman Reigns headlined the show as he competed against Sheamus in the main event of Raw and challenged him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Vince McMahon interfered in the match, but it didn’t work out very well for him as he was met with a Superman Punch from Roman Reigns. Reigns closed out the match by hitting a Spear on Sheamus for the three count and the win.
