elimination chamber

The women of WWE made history last month when they competed in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match, and they’ll make history once again on Sunday when Alexa Bliss defends her title against Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose inside the Elimination Chamber.

After Sunday night fans will have a better idea of how things are going to line up for the Raw roster as the red brand heads into WrestleMania, but it looks like we could potentially be seeing an interesting twist.

CageSideSeats notes that current odds suggest Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss will retain her title, but it’s rumored that WWE officials may be considering a big win for Sasha Banks on Sunday night.

Although nothing has been officially announced for WrestleMania yet as far as the women’s division is concerned, it seems that there are several ideas on the table.

It was recently reported that one scenario which is being considered would see Asuka challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, with Alexa Bliss defending against Nia Jax.

Thanks to her Royal Rumble win, Asuka will be getting a title shot at WrestleMania regardless of what happens in the next few weeks, but she’s set to face Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber, and if Jax wins she’ll be added to the Raw Women’s Title match at the Show of Shows.

Anything can happen between now and WrestleMania, but it looks like WWE officials are trying their best to keep fans guessing.
