There are a lot of ways you can go when you’re repackaging someone’s character. Sometimes you remove them from television and bring them back with a different name and backstage with some new ring attire. It worked for guys like Umaga, The Godfather, and countless others.
WWE will usually give someone a couple goes at different characters if they really believe in someone. The fact is WWE needs to believe in Luke Harper and Erick Rowan because the two are amazing talents. If anything, WWE needs to keep ahold of them so they don’t go somewhere else and become even bigger stars.
The former Wyatt Family members have been burdened with the stigma of being Bray Wyatt’s followers. But then they were both pulled from television after trying some battling back and forth and suddenly promos hyping the debut of The Bludgeon Brothers started popping up on SmackDown Live.
They didn’t have their huge hammers with them because I’m guessing those would have been pretty hard to travel with on the airplane, let alone trying to check them at the airport. But don’t be surprised if you see them dragging along oversized hardware when they finally appear on WWE television.
The two former Wyatt Family members were in an eight-man tag tagging with The Ascension against Breezango and The Colons. It’s interesting that the Bludgeon Brothers are getting some experience against The Fashion Police on the road. Who knows where The Fashion Files might lead us as they try to hunt down the Uggos who look more like Harper and Rowan each week?
One thing’s for sure, The Bludgeon Brother’s new ring attire is certainly interesting. One fan said it looks rather futuristic but I don’t know what to think, to be honest. I just hope it works out for them and they’re able to move on from the Wyatt Family’s shadow.

I'm sorry #LukeHarper because I like your work but you look like #JeffHardy if he stepped out of a time machine 50 years from 2001 😂 #SDLive pic.twitter.com/fRUGAVTDfM
