The Undertaker hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in months, but he is booked for several upcoming non-WWE related appearances.

Earlier this week it was announced that The Undertaker will be appearing at Starrcast II during AEW Double or Nothing weekend, and the announcement got a lot of people talking.Even though the event is set to take place during Double or Nothing weekend, it’s important to note that Starrcast is not an AEW event.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Undertaker’s wrestling contract with WWE is over. It was noted that Taker likely still has some sort of affiliation with the company that doesn’t prevent him from taking outside bookings.

Meltzer also noted that as of a week ago The Undertaker was not booked for WrestleMania 35, or the next Saudi Arabia show, and speculated that Taker is retired.

Of course Undertaker retirement rumors seem to make the rounds every year when WrestleMania season kicks into high gear, but the fact that The Deadman is taking so many non-WWE related bookings seems to be an indication that he’s moving on to the next stage of his career.

Taker is reportedly charging $25,000 an hour for appearances, or $60,000 for three hour appearances.
