Rey Mysterio recently became a Grand Slam Champion when he defeated Samoa Joe to win the US Title at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, but unfortunately for Mysterio it seems that his reign will be coming to an end soon.
After the match Mysterio found himself on the wrong end of a post-match beat down courtesy of Samoa Joe, and he suffered a separated shoulder.
On Monday Night Raw this week it was announced that Rey Mysterio will be appearing on the show next week to relinquish the title.
How a new champion will be crowned has not yet been announced.
