It looks like Paige and crew are finally starting to find that they can’t do anything they want to on Raw. This week looked like another normal night for Absolution as they stalked Asuka in the ring but Paige, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville quickly realized that they were greatly outnumbered and decided to make a quick exit while they still could.
Alexa Bliss was a part of this onslaught against Absolution and it happened to be her only segment on Raw this week which is odd seeing how she’s the current Raw Women’s Champion. It’s also interesting that even though she didn’t do much damage at all, they still played Nia Jax’ theme song as Absolution made their retreat.
Little Miss Bliss was asked after Raw about the run-in on Absolution and she had a rather confident response where she promised to teach Paige and her crew a lesson they wouldn’t soon forget.
“You know Absolution’s been here for a few weeks now and they’ve had their fun but it’s time for them to realize they can’t just come to our division and act like they own the place. It’s time for someone to put them in their place and as the champion and the leader of this division, I’m the person to make sure that happens.”
Those certainly sound like fighting words and makes us wonder how Alexa Bliss might find herself in this current Absolution storyline. Perhaps Paige will wind up chasing the Raw Women’s Title after they’re through with Asuka?
Alexa Bliss doesn’t sound like she’ll be backing down one bit though which could turn into something very cool down the line. But one thing’s for sure we haven’t seen the last of Paige, Rose, or Deville as they will most likely continue to prove how they’re a force to be reckoned with in the WWE Universe.
