AJ Styles was traded to Friday Night SmackDown a few months ago, but he was recently moved to Monday Night Raw in the WWE Draft.
This week on Monday Night Raw AJ Styles faced off against Matt Riddle, and Styles made his way to the ring with his new bodyguard, Jason Omogbehin.
Before the match AJ cut a promo, and after the bell rang the referee asked his bodyguard to leave the ring, but he refused. The referee started to do a 5 count, and threatened to disqualify Styles, but Jason grabbed his hand and stopped the count at 2.
The referee begged him to leave the ring, and he did.
At one point Matt Riddle was on the outside of the ring, face to face with AJ’s bodyguard and he made a fist to threaten Riddle. A frightened Matt Riddle retreated into the ring and he was met with a kick to the head from The Phenomenal One, followed by the Styles Clash to end the match.
After the match AJ’s bodyguard got in the ring while he celebrated.
To say this was a HUGE win for @AJStylesOrg would be an understatement. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/q9FyGwHRc0
