At WrestleMania 36 The Undertaker and AJ Styles faced off in the first ever Boneyard Match, and in the end it was Taker who won the cinematic bout.
The match received rave reviews from the wrestling community, but there still seems to be interest in a more traditional Undertaker vs. AJ Styles match.
The Undertaker has indicated that he’s done with in-ring competition, so whether or not another match will ever happen remains to be seen, but AJ Styles has made it clear that he’s not done with The Deadman.
The Phenomenal One recently spoke to BT Sport, and he challenged The Undertaker to a Loser Leaves Town match at SummerSlam, and he also noted that he would put the IC Title on the line.
“You want me to give you one? Here’s one. I’m the IC champ, Undertaker’s never been the IC champ. I’ll put it on the line against you, and if you freaking beat me, I’ll leave WWE forever, but if I win, you leave.”
