This week’s episode of NXT featured a big main event as Grayson Waller faced off against Cruz Montana to determine who would be challenging Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship at Heatwave. Ahead of the match Robert Stone had been talking on the phone with a free agent, and that free agent turned out to be none other than Zilla Fatu.
Waller and Montana pushed each other to the limit in the main event, but unfortunately for them neither one picked up the victory as Zilla Fatu appeared out of nowhere and took them both out. Fatu went to the top rope to deliver a splash to Montana then connected with another splash on Waller.
After taking out Waller and Cruz Montana, Zilla Fatu set his sights on Tony D’Angelo who was sitting at ringside. He made his intentions clear as he pointed at the NXT Championship.

Zilla Fatu has been rumored to be WWE bound for some time now. It was reported earlier in the day that Fatu had been spotted at the WWE Performance Center, and the belief is that he has signed a contract with WWE.
