zack ryder

We have been keeping you, our amazing (and intelligent) readers up to date on the latest happenings in the life of Zack Ryder since he was taken out of action with a knee injury in December. It was terrible timing for Ryder, because he injured his knee during a battle royal match to determine the #1 contenders for the Smackdown Tag Titles. This week’s Smackdown Live featured yet another #1 contender battle royal, and Long Island Iced Z was quick to comment on his own history with battle royals.

This week’s match ended in a cluster of monumental proportions with a kind of sloppy, yet inventive spot. The match might have been ruled a draw, but Long Island Iced Z was pulling for one particular individual during the battle royal and let the WWE Universe know exactly who he wanted to be the new #1 contender.

Zack also had time to answer a few questions like when someone asked him what the favorite match that he’s competed in is. We’re not sure if he was being serious with his response, but we’ll just let you decided if it was a shoot or not.

While he’s been recuperating his knee injury, Ryder has been working out hard in the gym… when he can make it there on time.

Ryder did get to the gym and was sporting a Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard t-shirt in the process. He also had some very productive plans for the evening.

In his spare time, Long Island Iced Z also enjoys doing a little cosplaying. He recently sent out a tweet displaying one of his most recent attempts at recreating a classic wrestling look.

We here at Still Real To Us wish Zack Ryder a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see him back in the ring. In the meantime we still woo, woo, woo and are very much entertained by his activities during his time away from the squared circle.
