So, what are you up to tonight? We’ll be watching Nickelodeon, and that feels weird to say. But, WWE superstar John Cena will be hosting the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and the show takes place at 5pm pst, 8pm est from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.
Nikki Bella will also be at the event in an official capacity as well because she will be taking part in hosting the red carpet ceremonies. The Bella Twin that isn’t pregnant will be corresponding for Extra and reporting to them during the show for a special segment as fellow celebrities arrive.
The Rock is nominated for an award tonight, but it isn’t “Biggest Butt-Kicker.” Instead he’s nominated alongside Moana co-star Auli’i Cravalho in the “Favorite Frenemies” category.
Nickelodeon has been promoting this event heavily with television commercials that set new words to John Cena’s famous entrance music and have invited many top names and there is sure to be slime, songs, and silliness.
Hosting awards ceremonies should be old hat for a guy like Cena by now though because he hosted the ESPY’s and Teen Choice Awards last year. However, the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is a very unique kind of ceremony. Anything can happen so we’ll have to just tune in to see how far John Cena is willing to go to entertain the audience of children. This might get very good.
