Roman Reigns has his fair share of fans and haters, and on Sunday night the Chicago crowd at Money in the Bank let him and Jinder Mahal know that they weren’t interested in their match.
During the match fans chanted for CM Punk, Rusev Day, NXT, and they chanted “this is awful.” They also went wild with various other chants including, but not limited to “let’s go Cena/Cena sucks” and “end this match.”
Wrestling fans know that Chicago is home to one of the hottest crowds, but one WWE veteran wasn’t happy about the chants.
Referee Charles Robinson took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the chants when he posted the following:
For as great a town that Chicago is for wrestling (one of the best ever), it is really disappointing that they can be so disrespectful when guys like @JinderMahal and @WWERomanReigns are busting there butts and giving us a great match.
