WWE United Kingdom Tournament: Tyler Bate vs. Jordan Devlin

Tyler Bate versus Jordan Devlin was the next match in the quarterfinals. Devlin advanced in very controversial fashion last night and that point was brought to light during the introduction of this match. Bate was a real smiling face as the 19-year-old walked to the ring grinning while waving to the crowd. Devlin was heavily booed.

Devlin got a quick jump on Bate but he was able to throw Jordan Devlin out of the ring and pull off a suicide dive on his opponent. Devlin soon took over the match and slowed down the pace. Jordan Devlin attempted a couple of submission maneuvers but Tyler Bate soon turned it around for himself a little bit and hit a springboard flying uppercut.

Bate attempted an airplane spin, but was blocked by Devlin. After a little bit of business Tyler Bate finally got his airplane spin off and he executed the old school move flawlessly. Devlin got a little offense in as he threw a knee into his adversary’s chest and got a close to count.

Tyler Bate attempted a Tyler Driver but it was countered. Jordan pulled out an enziguri, which was the same move that opened up the back of Burch’s skull last night, and Tyler was sent to the floor. They were really selling that move on commentary as well as in the ring. Bate punched in the face and hit a Tyler Driver and pulled off the three count for the win.
