The last semi final match features Tyler Bate versus Wolfgang in what was sure to be an incredibly intense matchup. These two men are both extremely over with this crowd at this point, and as they circled each other the crowd traded chants as to who they favored most.
It was over a 120 pound difference between the two competitors in this matchup and that was made evident as Wolfgang tossed Tyler across the ring like a sack of potatoes during the early moments of this matchup. Bate wouldn’t take much of that as he began unloading fists onto Wolfgang. Wolfgang slowed the match down as much as he could by slamming Tyler once more, however he stalled too much and was unable to execute his second rope splash maneuver as he gave Tyler an opportunity to dropkick him from the second rope. Bate kicked Wolfgang in the face, Wolfie followed it up with an attempted press slam which Tyler countered with a rollup pin attempt.
Wolfie hit Tyler with a brutal looking spear that looked more like a gore and got a close two-count. Bate hits a Tyler Driver and pulled off a surprising victory over Wolfgang.
Tyler Bate looked as shocked as the crowd in attendance thought this match ended so suddenly. The finals were set with Tyler Bate taking on Pete Dunne, a true face vs. heel scenario.
Dunne more than drove this point home as he ambushed Tyler after this match was over and left him crumbled in the corner. William Regal came out and looked furious as he shoved Pete Dunne toward the exit.
