The landscape has changed drastically in WWE over the last few weeks as several new champions have been crowned. Last month Tiffany Stratton cashed in Money in the Bank to become the new WWE Women’s Champion, and Liv Morgan dropped the WWE Women’s World Championship to Rhea Ripley during the Raw premiere on Netflix.
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley had been feuding for months, but it appears that Liv is now out of the title picture following her loss to Ripley. Even though Liv is no longer chasing singles gold it appears that she will still be featured in a prominent spot on WWE programming moving forward.
PWInsider is reporting that there’s been a lot of talk about Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez getting a big push heading into WrestleMania this year. As of right now Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Bianca Belair and Naomi is currently being advertised for Raw this week, so it will be interesting to see how the match plays out.
One way or another it seems that business is about to pick up for the WWE women’s division as it was confirmed on SmackDown last week that Charlotte Flair, Naomi, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will all be entering the women’s Royal Rumble.
Stay tuned for updates.
