WWE Superstar Pulled From Money In The Bank Qualifying Match On Raw

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw aired live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas and the show featured two big Money in the Bank qualifying matches. Roxanne Perez, La Catalina and Iyo Sky faced off in the first Money in the Bank qualifying match of the night, and Perez picked up the win when she pinned Iyo Sky.

Solo Sikoa, Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio were originally set to face off in another Money in the Bank qualifying match. However, as Solo Sikoa’s music hit the cameras cut backstage to show 946 throwing Solo Sikoa in the back of the their vehicle and driving off as The Usos & Jacob Fatu chased after the car.

When the show returned from commercial break Dominik Mysterio asked Adam Pearce if he automatically wins due to forfeit, and Pearce told Dominik to get to the ring. Dragon Lee walked down the aisle shortly after.

Right before the referee called for the bell Adam Pearce made his way out into the arena and announced that Solo Sikoa would not be competing tonight. Pearce confirmed that there would be a triple threat match as he introduced Penta as Solo Sikoa’s replacement.

Near the end of the match Dom went for a Frog Splash on Penta, but Penta got the knees up. Dragon Lee then connected with a Styles Clash on Dom and Penta broke up the pint at the last second.

Penta hit Dragon Lee with the Mexican Destroyer on the apron then Dom quickly followed up with the 619 on Penta followed by a Frog Splash. Dom looked shocked as Penta kicked out at two. Dominik ripped off the top turnbuckle pad then tried to throw Penta into it. Penta reversed it and hit Dom with the springboard Mexican Destroyer to win the match and qualify for Money in the Bank.
