WWE has been going through some major changes over the last year or so and earlier this month it was announced that Endeavor will be acquiring WWE. The Raw after WrestleMania 39 was reportedly chaotic as several changes were made to the show, and it looks like more changes were made to this week’s episode of Raw.
PWInsider Elite reports that several backstage segments involving female talent were cut from Raw this week. It’s being said that the segments getting cut led to some very unhappy talents. The cuts were reportedly made very late in the day and in at least one case the material that was cut had already been filmed.
It’s worth noting that earlier this week Fightful Select reported that there was a Damage CTRL segment that didn’t air on Monday Night Raw this week. Bayley and Iyo Sky did appear on Raw alongside Dakota Kai who faced off against Bianca Belair, and they also appeared in a digital exclusive on WWE’s YouTube channel. There’s no word on what the original plan was for them on the show.
