The wrestling landscape has certainly changed quite a bit over the last two years, and fans have seen a number of talents jump ship from WWE to AEW. In recent weeks CM Punk, Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson have all joined the company, and now the wrestling world is waiting to see who might be next.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed Chad Gable’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and he noted that a lot of Gable’s friends want him to join All Elite Wrestling. Exact details regarding Gable’s contract status with WWE are unknown at this point, so it’s not clear when he might be able to explore other opportunities.
Gable found success in NXT as one half of American Alpha. He managed to capture the NXT Tag Team Titles, and the SmackDown Tag Team Titles with Jason Jordan as his partner, and he also captured the Raw Tag Team Titles once with Bobby Roode.
Currently Chad Gable is working in a tag team with Otis, and it was announced during the first night of the WWE Draft on Friday that they will be moving to Raw.
