It’s been over a year since Randy Orton has appeared on WWE programming, but he’s still one of the most talked about wrestlers on the roster despite his absence. Before Orton was sidelined due to injury he was working in the tag team division with Matt Riddle and they came together to form RK-Bro.
During a recent appearance on The Bump, Matt Riddle named a few wrestlers he would like to form a faction with, and he revealed that he actually had an idea for a stable that would have included both Randy Orton and Edge.
“You got Cody, he’s a stallion. You know, if Randy ever comes back. That would be awesome. Edge — you know, for a minute there, I wanted to do Rated RK-Bro, you know. It’s a whole thing. I would love to be in a group.”
Randy Orton underwent back fusion surgery late last year and since then there’s been a lot of concern regarding his potential future in wrestling. It’s been rumored that Orton could be getting closer to making a return, but WWE has yet to make any official announcements regarding his status.
