Over the weekend fans who attended the WWE live event in Sacramento, CA saw Natalya face off against Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey and something interesting happened after the match. Natalya no sold Liv Morgan’s finisher, and after she was pinned she pointed at Morgan and said something before exiting the ring.
Dave Meltzer discussed the incident on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and it was noted that Natalya is getting heat over the situation.
“It was a surprise, especially from her. There was an issue. It had nothing to do with Liv Morgan, at all. From what I heard… I know Natalya’s getting heat. I think Liv Morgan’s been getting heat over (it).
“Whatever it was, I don’t know exactly what the situation was, I know there was a situation, I know that it was cleared up immediately that night and it’s over and done with. But it did happen, she was mad. But it had nothing to do with Morgan, or any heat (between) her and Morgan. If you watch the clip, that was the conclusion you would come to, but it wasn’t that.”
Liv Morgan will go on to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey at the SummerSlam premium live event later this month. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
