Business has certainly picked up over the last few days as The Rock made his return to WWE last week on SmackDown and he seemingly set up a WrestleMania match with Roman Reigns. The match hasn’t been confirmed, but it is expected to be officially announced at the WrestleMania 40 press conference later this week.
Following The Rock’s return fans have been rallying behind Cody Rhodes on social media. It seems that there are many fans out there who are hoping to see WWE change course and move forward with Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns II at WrestleMania 40.
Some fans have been less than kind when it comes to expressing their opinions on social media and it seems that the backlash is now impacting The Rock’s daughter NXT General Manager Ava. Recently Ava took to social media to tell fans that she wants to be excluded from the discourse regarding The Rock’s WrestleMania plans. Ava also claimed that she’s been receiving death threats when she posted the following:
death threats over a situation i have nothing to do with … bffr
