For months now The Judgement Day has been feuding with Edge and this week on Raw the Rated R Superstar faced the newest member of the group when he went one on one with Dominik Mysterio.
The match ended in a disqualification when The Judgement Day interfered, and after the match was over Dominik Mysterio attacked Edge’s leg with a steel chair. After taking several chair shots Edge’s leg was then placed on the chair and Finn Balor came crashing down on it with the Coup De Grace.
Dave Meltzer pointed out on Wrestling Observer Radio that Edge has a limited contract and is not around on a weekly basis. There’s speculation that the angle with the chair may have been WWE’s way of writing Edge off TV for now.
This certainly wouldn’t be the first time The Judgement Day has taken Edge out as he was written off TV back in June when Finn Balor joined the group. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
