Over the last few years celebrities have become more and more common on WWE programming, and Jelly Roll has been featured in some big segments. The music star made his in-ring debut with WWE last year at SummerSlam, and now it seems that he’s making a big change when it comes to his personal life.
TMZ is reporting that Jelly Roll has filed for divorce from his wife Bunnie XO. According to court records Jelly Roll filed for the divorce back in May in Tennessee.
Sources have told TMZ that the divorce is a mutual decision by the two, and a private family matter. Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO met in 2015 and later went on to tie the knot in August of 2016. The report notes that they had a rocky relationship and Bunnie has openly talked about how they’ve split multiple times in the past.
Jelly Roll was featured as one of the key figures in the Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton feud on the road to WrestleMania earlier this year. His former friend Randy Orton turned on him and aligned himself with Pat McAfee, which led to some on screen issues between McAfee and Jelly Roll.
Ultimately Jelly Roll got the upper hand when it was all said and done as he put McAfee through the announce table at WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes ended up retaining the title when he defeated Randy Orton in the night 1 main event, and neither Jelly Roll nor Pat McAfee have appeared on WWE programming since.
