This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from Hartford, CT and the show featured a big title match in the main event. Seth Rollins defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest, and it sounds like the match was well received backstage.
PWInsider is reporting that there was a lot of praise internally for Damian Priest’s work in the title match with Seth Rollins. In the end it was Rollins who walked out with the gold, but after the show both wrestlers showed respect for one another when they shook hands in the ring.
It’s also being reported that a number of talents noted how much fun they had performing in front of the crowd in Hartford, CT. One talent pointed out that there were a lot more signs at the show which gave it a different feel. Another member of the WWE staff also pointed out that the venue doesn’t have screens hanging overhead in all four directions which forced the crowd to focus on the ring and made the reactions more unified.
