When you’re on the road with WWE any number of things can happen, especially if the tour is outside the USA. AJ Styles was recently pulled from a South American tour and found himself wrestling in a dream match against Finn Balor a couple days later. So sometimes, it’s not a bad thing at all to leave a tour early.
But other times the reason for someone being sent home from a tour might not be too good as evidence with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn who were apparently sent home from a recent European tour for alleged reasons that they went against orders on SmackDown Live and went into business for themselves.
Needless to say, it probably takes something noticeable to get sent home early from a WWE tour when you’re so far away from home. After all, any time when you can’t do your job for any reason it isn’t a good thing, especially if you’ve flown to a different country to do it.
PW Insider reports that Mojo Rawley got a new tag team partner on Saturday night in Mexico so soon after the Hype Bros disbanding. But this likely isn’t going to be any kind of permanent partnership because Mojo was filling in for someone on the tour.
Mojo teamed with Rowan in Mexico because apparently, Harper needed to be sent home. Word around the locker room was that the former Wyatt Family member who didn’t wear a sheep mask was flown home after the SmackDown brand’s show in Lima Peru on Thursday night.
It’s unclear why Harper was sent home at this point but it’s certainly interesting. Let’s just hope this isn’t a sign that something could be happening to The Bludgeon Brothers so soon after their heavily hyped debut and current domination of the SmackDown tag team ranks.
