Business has picked up in recent months on the Friday Night SmackDown brand, but it looks like one of the key figures on the blue brand is currently dealing with an injury.
PWInsider is reporting that SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis is injured and it’s been confirmed that he suffered a torn bicep. It was noted that Nick Aldis underwent surgery today and he is not currently expected to miss any appearances for WWE moving forward.
Aldis will have his hands full this Friday on SmackDown as Cody Rhodes is set to meet with Roman Reigns face to face ahead of their title match at WrestleMania 40 next month. Cody Rhodes was confronted by Paul Heyman this week on Raw and Cody promised Heyman that he will be coming to SmackDown alone later this week.
