Last year WWE kicked off their partnership with ESPN when the Wrestlepalooza premium live event emanated from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Now it’s been confirmed that WWE Wrestlepalooza is set to return this year as the company will be bringing the show to Perth, Australia on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
WWE also confirmed that they’ve signed a new three-year agreement with the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia that will see the country host a series of WWE Weekend Takeovers, which include a premium live event annually through 2028.
WWE posted the following announcement:
“August 27, 2026 – WWE, in partnership with the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia, today announced a new three-year agreement that will see Perth host WWE Weekend Takeovers featuring a Premium Live Event annually from 2026 through 2028, kicking off with Wrestlepalooza: Perth on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
The first WWE Weekend Takeover under the new agreement will see RAC Arena host SmackDown on Friday, December 11, followed by Wrestlepalooza: Perth on Saturday, December 12, and Raw on Monday, December 14.
