Vince McMahon is once again involved with WWE creative, and McMahon has been making some changes in recent weeks. Fightful Select reports that Vince McMahon generally likes to make good on advertised matches even if they weren’t his idea. Sometimes there are exceptions, but if the match is advertised they try to see it through.

WWE advertised a number of matches for SmackDown on June 9, and one source noted that the company advertising matches one, two and three weeks ahead of time could have been to “Vince proof” some of the plans on SmackDown.

Vince McMahon has mostly been making changes remotely, but he was on location for the June 5 episode of Raw. The changes he made to that show had to do with match orders, match times, and some additional segments.

For the June 19 episode of Raw the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, “pivotal storyline moment” and more were changed. The following Friday several SmackDown matches were changed at the request of Vince McMahon. It’s being said that there was a ton of frustration at every level regarding the changes made to Raw and SmackDown.
