Back in April WWE released quite a few names due to coronavirus related budget cuts, and now it looks like the company has made some more cuts.

According to PWInsider additional staff were let got from WWE on Friday, mostly logistical and behind the scenes staff members who were working out of Stamford, CT.

It’s believed that somewhere between 10 to 15 staff members were released.

The most recognizable name from this round of releases is former WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel, who officially joined the company in 1991 on a full-time basis. He was the first announcer for the SmackDown brand, and was moved to WWE’s version of ECW in 2007.

Derek Casselman, the Director of Venue Merchandise, Remote Operations, who had worked with the company since 1993 was another notable release.
