A few weeks ago WWE released a number of talents from the NXT roster, and it was later reported that the company would be focusing on younger and bigger talents moving forward. NXT is expected to be rebranded and everyone is waiting to see what the changes will be like.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, several people in the company have said that the word from the top is that WWE is no longer interested in scouting independent talent, and AEW can have the independent talent for itself.
WWE is reportedly back to scouting talent for their looks, and training people with the right look to be wrestlers rather than signing talents who have already gotten over elsewhere.
The plan moving forward is to have people bring in more athletes and do tryouts like WWE recently did in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for updates.
