Over the last few years there have been a few different break out stars in WWE, and Dominik Mysterio has become one of the most talked about wrestlers on the roster. Dominik started out working as a babyface as he teamed with his father, but there’s no denying that his career has reached new heights ever since he turned heel last year.
Heading into WrestleMania 39 the Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio feud was one of the most talked about feuds in wrestling, and Rey managed to pick up a big win over Dominik on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that before the decision was made to move forward with the Rey vs. Dominik feud there was serious thought given to sending Dominik to NXT. It was also noted that there’s no chance of it happening now.
Even though Rey defeated his son at WrestleMania 39 it appears that the feud is far from over as it’s expected that Rey Mysterio & Bad Bunny will be facing Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest at Backlash next month. Stay tuned for updates.
