After WWE bought WCW, they acquired all of the intellectual property that came along with the brand including match concepts and pay-per-view names.
Every once in a while WWE will bust out a familiar WCW concept and last year fans saw the return of War Games and Starrcade. Now it looks like another event could be making a return.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE applied for a trademark on The Great American Bash on April 27th. WWE previously used a version of the name with The Bash, which was an annual WWE pay-per-view between 2004 and 2009.
Tommaso Ciampa is without a doubt one of the best heels in NXT, and arguably one of the best heels in professional wrestling at the moment.
He’s spent a great deal of time making Johnny Gargano’s life a living hell, but following Gargano’s victory over Ciampa at NXT Takeover: New Orleans, it appears that Ciampa has set his sights on a new target.
Ciampa recently took a shot at Ohno on Twitter when he called him a “bench player for his intramural men’s basketball league” and he also praised himself in the process.
