Dean Ambrose is out of action due to a torn tricep muscle which will require a lot of time on the shelf. He’s been out of action since December and his nine-month recovery time means The Lunatic Fringe will miss a lot of in-ring action.
WWE reportedly had some big plans for Ambrose too but they had to switch things around for the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania due to his injury.
Ambrose has been spotted at a hockey game a time or two, but he’s received very little mention on WWE television. To make matters even more interesting, Ambrose was recently pulled from his WrestleMania Axxess signing on the morning of WrestleMania.
“He got pulled from WrestleMania Axxess, he got pulled from some autograph signings. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what caused all this,” Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio.
“I asked around and I didn’t get good answers — I didn’t get any answers so it’s not like I don’t think people are really talking about it. So hopefully, I’ll hear something tomorrow.”
There could be more to this story but apparently, it’s still developing.
It is rather strange that Dean Ambrose was reportedly going to see WWE’s doctors one week and suddenly he was pulled from all of his scheduled appearances.
Fans who already paid to meet Ambrose on WrestleMania Sunday have to be disappointed about this. But hopefully, Ambrose is just getting this extra time off to focus on his recovery and it isn’t a sign of anything deeper going on in the situation.
