WWE Main Event Results 7/1/2014

We go right to the ring where Paul Heyman introduces himself and Cesaro. Cesaro is wearing an eye patch. Heyman says Kofi Kingston intentionally blinded his client last night so there won’t be a match tonight. We see replays from RAW. Heyman goes on until Dolph Ziggler comes out with a mic. He knocks Cesaro and Heyman until the music hits and out comes Big E to interrupt. Big E cuts another preacher promo about the Intercontinental Title. He’s interrupted by Ryback and Curtis Axel, which then brings out Rob Van Dam. Ryback ends up tossed from the ring.

– The Wyatt Family graphic flashes and we see Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. They’re in action next. Back to commercial.

– We come back and Big E, Ziggler and RVD vs. Axel, Ryback and Cesaro is announced for tonight.

– We get a look back at Chris Jericho and The Miz returning.

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs. Xavier Woods and R-Truth

Rowan and Harper make their way out as Truth and Woods wait. Rowan and Harper dominate the match. Rowan gets the win on Woods.

Winners: Erick Rowan and Luke Harper

– We get a look back at AJ Lee’s return on RAW.

Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox vs. Cameron and Naomi

Nikki Bella comes out for a rematch from RAW. Stephanie McMahon appears on the big screen and says she’s assigned Nikki a tag partner for this match. Out comes Alicia Fox. Alicia hits her own partner and Cameron covers for the easy win.

Winners: Cameron and Naomi

– Renee Young is backstage with Sheamus. She asks about his challenge on SmackDown and Alberto Del Rio interrupts. Del Rio says he’s going to win the Intercontinental Title at Battleground and win the United States Title from Sheamus on SmackDown.

– Still to come, a six-man main event.

– Another backstage segment with Heyman, Cesaro and Renee.

– We get more replays from RAW.

Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler and Big E vs. Cesaro, Curtis Axel and Ryback

Ryback takes out Big E. RVD sends Ryback to the floor. RVD goes to the top but Cesaro shoves him off onto everyone else on the floor. Ziggler nails a Zig Zag on Cesaro from behind for the win.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler, RVD and Big E

– After the match, Ziggler celebrates with RVD and Big E as a referee checks on Cesaro. The babyfaces pose in the middle of the ring as we go to replays.
