It’s been several years since fans have seen Hulk Hogan appear on a WWE TV show. The company let him go after leaked audio revealed that Hogan had used some racial slurs, and Hogan isn’t often referenced on WWE programming nowadays.
It’s been rumored for a while that WWE officials may be waiting for the right time to bring him back, and some fans have wondered if Hogan could be showing up on the Raw 25th anniversary show. However, he noted on Twitter that he is going to be watching the show from home, and he told The Washington Post that he will be there in spirit.
“Brother, if I’m not there, I’ll definitely be there in spirit,” Hogan said. “One way or the other, Hulk Hogan influenced each and every one of those guys you’re going to see on TV Monday night. And that includes Vince McMahon, too.”
Unfortunately for fans who are hoping to see Hogan appear on Raw soon, it looks like they’re bound to be disappointed, as WWE issued a statement indicating that they have no intention of bringing him back.
“At this time, WWE remains committed to its decision,” the company said in a statement.
Even though it doesn’t seem that there’s any plan for Hogan to return soon, there’s no telling what the future might hold.
The former WWE World Champion also noted that he feels he could have one more match, possibly with Vince McMahon, so perhaps he’ll get his wish someday.
