Over the past few years WWE, well more specifically, NXT has brought in quite a few of the bigger name guys from the independent scene and companies such as ROH. Now WWE has their eyes on a former ROH World Champion according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE is reportedly showing interest in Michael Elgin whose ROH contract expired earlier this week. NXT is looking for names that can help get the brand over and Elgin is seen as a guy who can do that. Michael Elgin has created a buzz around himself after working in New Japan Pro Wrestling which is another reason why WWE is interested in him.
