WWE likes big, strong men which is why the formula has worked for so long. There are lots of crossover athletes from other sports like Titus O’Neil and The Rock who played football to Alexa Bliss and Dana Brooke who were both in fitness and bodybuilding competitions. But strong men competitions has also proved to be a great place to find superior talent with extraordinary personalities.

Braun Strowman and Mark Henry both came from the strongmen circuit and have proven to be big wins for WWE. Therefore, whenever a great strongman comes along, WWE is going to pay attention.

Eddie Hall is a World’s Strongest Man and he is a beast. But soon after being given the title he retired from strongman competitions. Now the 29-year-old Englishman could be looking to take a leap to WWE.

The reason Hall coming to WWE seems so likely is because he admitted that WWE was talking to him during an interview with The Mirror. But in the end, he retired from strongmen competitions due to all the agony he was putting himself through therefore WWE might be right up his alley.

“I’ve won the World’s Strongest Man and that was my main goal. If I were to go back now, it was so stressful and I put a lot of pressure on my body to win it. I’m only 6ft 3ins and I achieved a bodyweight of 440lbs, and to put it blank, if I stay at that weight for so long, I’m going to kill myself.”

The former World Strongest Man said he was looking for a new career move and ended up hinting that a move to WWE might be an attractive prospect for him. Apparently, there are ongoing talks at this point, so who knows if we’ll be getting another massive performer soon enough?

“We’ve been approached by WWE and it’s something we’ll look at. But I’m doing so well with all the appearances, endorsements, and all the potential TV work coming my way so I’m just biding my time. Me and my manager are just going to pick the best option and go from there.”
