According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter WWE currently has their eyes on several wrestler sin Ring of Honor. Their report states that WWE is waiting for their contracts to expire and hope to begin negotiations soon after.
Their report also mentions that the original idea behind NXT was to build wrestlers from the ground up but that mentality has changed. WWE is looking to replace the top indie stars in NXT with more indie stars that already know how to work. It’s also noted that Triple H loves all of the praise that NXT gets on social media.
In regards to which NXT wrestlers are likely to be called up soon, Sasha Banks’ is reportedly being talked about as well as Adrian Neville and Charlotte. WWE seems to like to call wrestlers up once WrestleMania season so it wouldn’t be surprising to see one or more wrestlers called up next month.
