Anything can happen in the WWE, and you can never say never when it comes potential returns.
PWInsider is reporting that Sting is expected to have a major role at WWE’s next event in Saudi Arabia in February. It’s being said that Sting coming out of retirement for a match is not off the table.
It was also noted that the pitch for Sting’s return did not include a match against The Undertaker, and that the deal isn’t 100% done.
Sting has stated in the past that he would be interesting in coming out of retirement for a match against The Undertaker.
Some also believe that Sting could be making an appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble tonight to get the ball rolling for his return.
