We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania and this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured a massive main event. Seth Rollins faced off against Finn Balor in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, and Rollins ultimately picked up the victory to advance to the Elimination Chamber match.
Near the end of the match Seth Rollins hit Finn Balor with the Pedigree. Rollins then pinned Balor, but Balor was late to kick out and fans could clearly see that the referee stopped his hand instead of counting to three.
While the botch was clear to see during the live broadcast on Monday night, WWE has since edited the replay on Netflix to make it look like Finn Balor managed to kick out on time. At the time fans reacted by chanting “three” but the chant has also been edited out. However, the “ref you suck” chants are still in the replay.
Following Raw it was reported by Fightful Select that there were no issues after the match, and everyone was happy with how the finish evolved. Seth Rollins will now go on to face off against CM Punk, John Cena, Damian Priest, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre inside the Elimination Chamber next month.
