Recently Crown Jewel has been a hot topic in the wrestling world as there’s been a lot of discussion regarding whether or not WWE should move the show to a different location.
Originally the show was set to be held at a temporary outdoor stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District of Riyadh, but today the official Riyadh Season account announced that the show will be moved when the following was posted:
“We would like to inform you that ‘WWE Crown Jewel’ has been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours.”
Fightful Select is reporting that although the show is moving venues the expectation is that Crown Jewel will still take place in Riyadh. It’s also being reported that sources at WWE HQ found out about the move when it was announced by the Riyadh Season account.
