WWE recently announced that Rusev had been pulled from the Casket Match with The Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble, and he was replaced by Chris Jericho after Lana refused to let him compete.
But Lana took to Twitter today to say that she has now changed her mind regarding the match, and WWE has confirmed that Rusev will be facing Taker on April 27. WWE.com confirmed that Rusev has once again been added to the match, and WWE also aired a commercial for the event during Raw advertising Rusev vs. The Undertaker in a Casket Match.
It’s not known how this will change Chris Jericho’s plans for the event, as he told Still Real To Us in an exclusive interview on Monday that he planned on competing in the match.
After the announcement was made, Rusev took to Twitter to taunt The Undertaker with the following GIF:
