Several names have been rumored to be returning to WWE now that the brand split is in full effect. Jinder Mahal recently returned, and Shelton Benjamin was supposed to return, but he unfortunately had to pass on the opportunity due to an injury.
For weeks now it’s been rumored that Curt Hawkins would be returning to WWE to join the SmackDown brand, and tonight on SmackDown Live it was confirmed.
WWE aired a short vignette on SmackDown announcing that Hawkins will be returning soon.
The vignette showed photos of Hawkins along with facts about him such as, “Curt Hawkins has counted to infinity…twice” along with a few other gems.

It was also announced on SmackDown that Carmella, Naomi and Becky Lynch will be teaming up to take on Natalya, Eva Marie and Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam.
