Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar are set to face off in a one on one match at SummerSlam, and so far they’ve done a great job promoting the match.

Orton fired the first shot a few weeks ago when he crossed the battle lines and made a surprise appearance on Raw. Randy interrupted Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman when he attacked Lesnar out of nowhere and hit him with a RKO.

Things have been going well for the Orton/Lesnar feud, but things haven’t been going well for Heath Slater.

This week on Raw Slater interrupted Paul Heyman while he was hyping up Brock Lesnar’s SummerSlam match, and he told Heyman that he needed to face Lesnar to prove himself and earn a Raw contract.

It didn’t take long for Brock Lesnar to absolutely destroy Heath Slater after he got in the ring.

Slater tried once again on SmackDown to win himself a contract, but the problem is he had to face off against Randy Orton, and Randy Orton had a message to send to Brock Lesnar.

Orton toyed with Heath Slater during the match, and even hit him with a few german suplexes, Brock Lesnar style. The crowd responded to the suplexes with a “SUPLEX CITY!” chant, and Slater actually ended up winning the match by DQ when Orton went off and the ref disqualified him.

Backstage trainers were checking on Heath Slater and Shane McMahon told him he earned a contract because he technically won the match. Slater mistakenly called Daniel Bryan Mick Foley, and then he told Shane McMahon that he looked beautiful, because he was loopy and thought Shane was Stephanie.

Shane then grabbed the contract out of Heath Slater’s hands and walked away, so Heath is still a free agent.
