Over the weekend NXT star Elias Samson fractured his ankle during a match at the live event in Nashville and WWE has now officially confirmed the injury. WWE.com posted the following:
Elias Samson injured during NXT Live Event
NXT Superstar Elias Samson suffered a fractured left ankle while competing at an NXT Live Event in Nashville this past weekend, WWE.com has learned.
“The match had to be stopped due to the injury and Elias was helped to the back, unable to bear weight on the ankle,” WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com. “Elias will be put in a cast and crutches, but is expected to make a full recovery.”
