You never know who might return when you watch the Royal Rumble premium live event as fans found out over the weekend when Alexa Bliss entered the women’s Royal Rumble match. Bliss made her first appearance on WWE programming in over two years and now everyone is wondering where the former champion will go from here.
It was originally reported that plans called for Alexa Bliss to join the Monday Night Raw brand following her return at the Royal Rumble premium live event. However, PWInsider is now reporting that there have been pitches for Bliss to join the SmackDown brand moving forward.
Ahead of her WWE return there was a lot of speculation that Alexa Bliss could end up working with The Wyatt Sicks. It’s not clear at this point in time if that might happen, but it’s worth noting that The Wyatt Sicks were recently moved to SmackDown.
It was reported last month that Alexa Bliss was set to return during the January 13 episode of Raw in San Jose. Those plans were nixed due to a contract dispute which led to Alexa’s return getting pushed back. Ahead of the Royal Rumble, Bliss signed a new contract with WWE and you can get more details on the deal here.
