We’re only a few weeks away from the Show of Shows as WrestleMania 34 is set to take place from New Orleans on Sunday, April 8. Everybody knows that WrestleMania is the biggest show of the year, but there are a few items that fans likely won’t be seeing in the crowd at this year’s event.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE recently sent out an e-mail to people who purchased WrestleMania travel packages which detailed which items are banned. According to the report, beach balls, and tablets/iPads were included on the list.
Beach balls have become an infamous distraction at WWE events over the last few years, so it’s not hard to see why the company is attempting to ban them from WrestleMania 34.
It was recently reported that piledrivers and blood have been banned from all events in the New Orleans area during WrestleMania week by the Louisiana Boxing and Wrestling Commission after a wrestler suffered an injury taking a piledriver several years ago.
The hope is that since WWE doesn’t allow talents to perform traditional piledrivers, the commission will rule that the Tombstone isn’t considered a normal piledriver.
All talents appearing on events during WrestleMania week will have to have blood tests done and the commission is also saying that physicals will be done before matches at the events and there will be no exceptions.
